Grant County VINELink Coverage
Arkansas runs VINE through the Arkansas Crime Information Center. Access is free and anonymous, by phone or online. The official Arkansas VINE service covers county jails, the Department of Corrections, probation, parole, post-release supervision, and court data from prosecuting attorneys. Statewide reach supports a Grant County jail search. Grant County itself posts no VINE dashboard. Sheridan Detention Center holds local, state, federal, and outside-agency inmates, so read each result by agency and facility rather than by name alone. Someone in Sheridan may lack a Grant County case.
VINE answers status questions. It posts no Grant County mugshot gallery. It also will not replace an arrest report, a jail booking record, a court docket, or a final case outcome.
Search Grant County VINE Records
Start at the Arkansas state entry and search for one person. A full legal name works best. Depending on the record type, the state also accepts an offender or booking number, case number, ADC number, or PID as a search key. When a common name returns several matches, lean on an official identifier.
- Open the Arkansas VINELink state search.
- Select the custody or court data set that fits the question.
- Enter the name or available official number. Try a verified spelling variation only when needed.
- Compare the result's birth date, offender number, facility, and agency before choosing it.
- Open the correct record and read the current status and event dates.
- Call the facility if the match is uncertain or the change is urgent.
The blank Arkansas VINELink interface is the direct search route.

The Arkansas VINE search page shows only the basic entry fields. No identity or PIN shows there. Treat a result as a set of facts. A birth date or ID separates two people, and the facility and agency show which system supplied the status.
Grant County VINELink Result Fields
Results vary in what they display. Custody records and court records carry different content. Access rules can also limit what becomes public. The table lists fields documented in Arkansas materials, not a promise that every Grant County search returns them all.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Identity label that must be checked against other identifiers. |
| Offender or booking number | Distinguishes a specific custody record. |
| Date of birth | Helps separate people with similar names. |
| Custody status | May indicate confinement, release, or another reported state. |
| Facility or location | Shows the reporting location, subject to transfer lag. |
| Scheduled release | A reported future date that can change by official action. |
| Parole eligibility | A state supervision field, not a promise of release. |
| Court event | Information supplied through the court-data path, updated on a different schedule. |
Custody status is not a case outcome. A person can walk free while a case moves ahead. A court event, in turn, does not show that the person is still jailed. Match the question to the right part of the record.
Register Grant County Custody Alerts
Register online or call 1-800-510-0415. Current Arkansas guidance asks for a phone number with area code and a four-digit PIN. Older state material mentions text, email, and TTY. Interface options change. Pick only the methods the live service offers rather than assuming an older choice still exists.
- Open the correct person's verified record.
- Choose the registration or notification option shown for that record.
- Select a current delivery method offered by the service.
- For phone registration, enter the number and create a four-digit PIN.
- Complete any confirmation step shown on screen or given by phone.
- Store the PIN privately. Use it to confirm receipt when the automated call asks.
A registration attaches to one record and its events. A move to a different system may require a new one. Custody alerts and court alerts can be separate. Never enter another person's private contact details without authority.
Arkansas VINE Alert Events
Alerts may cover release, bond release, court release, transfer, escape, death, parole, pardon, and court events when they apply. Exact choices depend on the live record. A scheduled release can shift. An alert reports the data VINE received, not an order from a court or jail.
Normal calls repeat every 30 minutes for up to 24 hours, or until the PIN is entered. Published calling hours can limit non-emergency activity. Emergency events may work differently. Read the live registration notice. Never count on an alert beating every custody change.
- Transfer
- A move between facilities or custodial authorities.
- Bond release
- Release under court-set conditions, not a finding of innocence or guilt.
- Disposition
- The way a court resolves a charge or case.
- Parole
- Supervised release from a sentence under stated conditions.
These terms describe different events. A transfer alert is not a release. A custody alert is not a final court outcome. Reading each label correctly keeps the notification useful.
Grant County Data Transfer Cadence
Arkansas VINE shares timing detail that Grant County's public pages lack. County-jail data transfers every 15 minutes, and ADC data moves hourly. Court, probation, parole, and post-release data moves once daily. These are system intervals, not a promise that any agency enters new events at the same pace.
Booking must happen first. Staff confirm identity, finish booking tasks, classify custody, and enter data before anything moves, and corrections take time to pass between systems. Grant County itself publishes no booking, photo, or roster timing.
The Arkansas inmate population search serves the sentenced state-prison population. It does not list new local pretrial bookings.

The captured ADC search illustrates why state-prison custody is a separate stage from Sheridan jail intake.
Verify a Missing Grant County Result
A blank VINELink result can still be wrong. The arrest may be hours old. Names get typed in differently. A person may also be released, transferred to another jail, held for an outside agency, or placed in a federal or immigration system. Sealed, juvenile, and protected records stay off the public side as well. So an empty screen proves nothing.
Call Sheridan Detention Center at 870-942-5512 for a live custody check. Then reach the Grant County Sheriff's Office at 870-942-5039 to trace the booking record itself. The Grant County arrests last 24 hours process is the tighter same-day fallback.
Ask the direct question: in custody, released, or transferred? Write down the date and time. If local custody has ended, request the booking and release entries from whichever office held the person, and take any court question to CourtConnect rather than VINE.
VINELink Does Not Cover Federal Custody
VINELink is not a federal search tool. It is not the Bureau of Prisons locator, the U.S. Marshals Service, or the ICE detainee locator. Sheridan Detention Center houses federal inmates under contract. That arrangement does not put every federal detainee into the VINE database. An ICE hold reported at a local jail is not the same as confirmed ICE custody either.
For a sentenced federal prisoner, use the BOP locator. For immigration custody, ICE's own locator needs exact identifiers. If neither tool works, contact the holding agency directly. Federal systems update on their own schedules. The BOP locator also offers no public mugshot field.
Grant County Custody Is Not Guilt
VINE reports custody status and certain court events, not legal outcomes. For an outcome, pull the official docket. Treat an alert, an old booking photo, or a new facility label as a status change only.
The right order matters. Run the custody check first. Identity verification comes next, then confirmation from the source office. Court follow-up is the last step.
Guard your registration details. A PIN only confirms you received the calls, so never post it or share it in a screenshot. VINE costs nothing, and no paid service is required for the state notification route.
